Fishing

Fishing is permitted in the four acre Flour Mill Pool (indicated by a little black fish on Heritage Park Map).

Species to be found include: Roach, Rudd, Crucian Carp, Tench, Perch, Ghost Carp, Bream Gudgeon, Common Carp & Mirror Carp.

Parking is free and is permitted in the designated car parks only. Access for disabled anglers is off the B.5121. There is poolside parking for blue badge holders only.

Season Tickets & Day Tickets are available on production of a current Environment Agency Licence from the Visitor Centre, which opens daily between 10am and 4.30pm from 21st March to 2nd November.

Season Ticket Prices (valid from 1st May 2008 - 30th April 2009):
Adult (17 years+)7 days a week£25.00
Adult (17 years+)4 days Mon -Thurs£15.00
*Family (1 Adult & 1 Junior under 16)7 days a week£27.00
*Family (1 Adult & 1 Junior under 16)4 days Mon -Thurs£17.00
Junior (8 - 16 years)7 days a week£10.00
*Any named junior can be included in the family permit, but children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied when fishing by an adult (17+)

Day Ticket Prices for 2008:
Adult (17 years+)£5.00
Junior (8 - 16 years)£3.00
Day tickets will not be issued to under 8’s as they must be accompanied when fishing by an adult.
